Hi there!! I hope you’ve been well! How have you been spending your Valentines? I hope you’ve had an awesome day so far! I wish all the couples the best Valentines ever! This is part 2 of the self-love series, so if you want to check out part 1 click here.
This post is for the singles though, today I really wanted you guys to know that you are loved, you are worthy and there is a great way to spend Valentines by yourself, but not alone, because the Lord is always with you. If you have the feeling that you’re going to feel lonely tonight I wanted to reach out and tell you that there are so many amazing things you could do. So here are 3 valentines ideas for singles:
Valentines ideas #1: Have a spa day/ evening
Ooohhh, get out all your facial products and giiirrlll/ booyyyyy pamper yourself, treat your body. It’s so important to take care of your body, because it takes care of you too. Pampering yourself makes you feel refreshed & there’s no better way to prepare for a new week than to make yourself feel refreshed.
Valentines ideas #2: Go for a walk while listening to your favorite playlist
Go for a walk somewhere you’ve always wanted to go (make sure it’s corona-proof and safe) and just walk around, take in the beauty of nature and listen to your favorite music or podcast. It’s my remedy against the evening blues.
Valentines ideas #3: Watching movies while treating yourself to your favorite meal
Honestly, there’s nothing better than watching the best romcoms while treating yourself to a delicious meal and a pack of ice cream for dessert. Grab your favorite teddy bear and enjoy a lovely evening watching movies. You can even invite your “knuffelcontact” (the person who you’re allowed to see during this pandemic) and watch together. Or if that isn’t possible you can have a virtual watch party with some friends.
Okay I’ll give you a bonus one
- A virtual game night
Get together with some of your friends and play a game together: one of the games I love to play with my friends is Catan or among us. It’s a fun way to do something with others while keeping it safe.
